Pasadena Memory Care
Regency Park Oak Knoll offers a broad range of memory care options for those facing the unique challenges of memory loss and dementia, including Alzheimer’s. We make it our business to learn as much as we can about each resident, including his or her family, background, personal habits, and preferences. This is essential to fulfilling our mission—to create a healthy, purposeful life for each individual resident in a safe and comfortable environment.
One of the distinct differences between Regency Park Oak Knoll and most other memory care communities is that our residents have access to the entire community, instead of being confined to a restricted area. Thus, they can enjoy all of our amenities and activities—both indoors and outdoors—safely and securely.
Whether your loved one has early- or later-stage memory loss or dementia, our professional and trained staff will provide the care, stimulation, and compassion needed to nurture and support each resident’s physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual abilities.
Specialized Memory Care
Memory loss generally is a progressive disease. At Regency Park Oak Knoll, we provide care for those at all stages of memory loss, including early and later stages.
From individualized care plans to family involvement, Regency Park Oak Knoll’s Specialized Memory Care program provides care and socialization specific to each individual’s level of cognitive and functional abilities as they evolve on an ongoing basis. Residents who are in earlier stages of memory loss are grouped together, as are residents at later stages, in order to maximize each individual’s sense of fulfillment and happiness.
Our program includes
- well-designed, monitored, and homelike spaces that minimize anxiety and encourage engagement
- daily ongoing activities within and outside the community that reflect our residents’ interests and help maintain strong social connections
- cognitive, occupational, music, art, and pet therapies
- family involvement and support
- consistent and ongoing staff training
- comprehensive safety features throughout the community
- strategies that address the emotional, behavioral, and physical symptoms associated with memory loss
